Group Editor, The Teach Company
Set up to celebrate the breadth and quality of educational and professional development resources for early years settings, the awards offer suppliers, manufacturers, publishers and service providers the chance to have their most innovative and effective products and publications recognised by the sector.
The scheme’s 13 categories cover key areas of learning and development, different age groups and learning environments, as well as continuing professional development, special educational needs and picture books. Our winners are chosen by an expert panel of early years authors, leaders and educators, and to ensure only the most-deserving resources triumph, entry is completely free.
Find Out MoreEstablished to recognise and celebrate technological developments that are having a genuine, positive impact in classrooms throughout the country, Tech for Teachers offers a chance for manufacturers and suppliers to shine a spotlight on their most effective and innovative products and resources for teaching and learning in Key Stages 3 and 4.
Entries are invited across eight, curriculum-linked categories, and - in order that as wide a range of submissions as possible can be considered - are absolutely free. The winners are chosen by an expert panel of teachers, leaders, consultants and writers with direct experience of the secondary sector, and the level playing field means that whether participants are industry giants or innovative start-ups, it’s the quality of what they have to offer educators that counts.
A carefully managed programme of promotion across all of The Teach Company’s social media channels keeps Tech for Teachers firmly on the radar of decision makers right across the education sector, from the start of the nomination period to the eventual drinks reception for winners at the BETT show.
Find Out MoreLaunched in 2015, the Teach Primary Book Awards has quickly become an eagerly anticipated event on the education calendar, highlighting books that teachers can confidently suggest to parents and share with pupils.
The success of the awards is in large part down to the consistent quality of the judging panel (including Mumsnet editor, Kate Williams, and author Philip Ardagh) - its collective expertise ensuring that each year’s winners will enliven and enrich any library.
What sets our awards apart from others, is that as well as acknowledging books children will love to read, they also recognise and celebrate titles that support learning by opening up opportunities for deeper discussion and encouraging language play.
Our position as the most widely distributed and read primary school magazine in the UK also ensures national coverage.
